Easter in the Park

Easter weekend is a big one in Australia. Not much is open on Good Friday and everyone has off the following Monday as well. Basically spent the weekend out in Gleebe, where Julie and Kerry, as well as Matt and Jordan, have been nice enough to let me crash at thier place for a couple of days. After a big night out of celebrating Simon's 20th birthday, we had a bbq in Centennial park on Easter Sunday. Dale, originally from NZ, but now an Aussie, put it all together. About 10 of us. After the bbq he threw us all in the back of his moving truck and gave us a ride back into the city. The French dude next to me was pretty wasted. I'm up in the Blue Mountains now, which is about a two hour trip west and north of Sydney. It's basically like any mountain town you might find in the states. Small, friendly, and a bit colder.
